Benjamin
Vechinski
Born and raised in Wausau, Ben graduated from Newman High School before joining the United States Navy. After serving his country, Ben went on to obtain his Philosophy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. A short time later he earned his Law Degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut. With professional experience in bankruptcy law and prosecution, he founded Vechinski, Phelps & Hughes. Outside of the office and courtroom, Ben enjoys baseball, grilling, hunting, and fishing, while valuing time spent with his family and celebrating his deep-rooted patriotism.
Jessica
Phelps
A native of Janesville, Jessica embarked on her academic journey at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, where she earned a degree in Psychology. Following a passion for advocacy, she attended Marquette Law School and dedicated seven years to the State Public Defender's office. Jessica's experience further expanded during her time in private practice with a non-profit criminal defense firm before spending two years with the Marathon County District Attorney's Office. With over 10 years of criminal justice experience on both sides, Jessica possesses the expertise and commitment to fiercely advocate for your rights.
Michael
Hughes
Michael is a committed legal expert with almost 20 years with extensive experience in family law, civil litigation, and criminal law. Michael's vast experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the legal system, allowing him to support clients during their toughest moments. Beyond his legal practice, Michael is an active community member as a Noon Optimist, a youth sports coach, and the vice-president of the Marathon County Bar Association. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin Madison, he merges his vast knowledge with a genuine desire to assist others.
